Troutline Tactical Double Hot Spot Quill Perdigon is a stimulator perdigon tied for trout and grayling. The color bead is discrete but the body has 2 hots spots, one close to tail and another one behind the bead. These strong hot-orange hot spots are working in deep and fast flowing parts of rivers. We use this fly on the top of the line and on the dropper we use a more heavy nymph without hot spot. When the heavy nymph pass close to fish, and if the fish don't react , the small double hot spotted perdigon will be dragged by the heavy fly. Usually the fish will react at perdigon because he was "activated" by the first nymph.
